Course Description+

Resume Writing and College Interview Skills is a one-week seminar course that will provide college-bound students with the tools to create a professional resume/activity sheet. Students will be able to use their final product as part of their college, scholarship, and employment applications. In addition, students will be equipped with the tools and skills necessary to confidently interview for college admissions. Students will learn helpful tips that will put them in the driver's seat during the college admissions process.

Session:
Session 2B: 7/10/23 - 7/14/23 (3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) (EST)

Meet Viki Polentas+

Mrs. Polentas has been the Director of our College Planning and Guidance Department at the Palm Beach Campus of American Heritage School for the last 12 years. As a college advisor, she has assisted students in developing their best possible profiles for college admissions. In the field for over 30 years, she has a wealth of experience to share on preparing students for the college admissions process.

Additional Course Information+

A class may be canceled if fewer than 6 students enroll, and a specific teacher is not guaranteed. It is the parents’ responsibility to check with their child's school when seeking credit for a course. For online courses, the students’ cameras MUST be turned on at all times, and attendance is mandatory. To protect the privacy rights of all, there is absolutely no videotaping or recording by students during the course. Students must be age appropriate for the course, and all students must adhere to proper online etiquette. For online courses, young children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
