Course Description+

This is a survey of Economics. It is intended to give the students a general understanding of the basic economic principles by which we live on a daily basis. It is designed to answer the questions of who gets what, when, where, why, and how much. Because every resource is scarce, we are forced to make choices. This course is also designed to explain how our economy works and why it doesn't work sometimes.

This 3-week semester course is offered for first time credit, for credit grade replacement, or for non-credit enrichment in preparation for taking the course in the future. Please check with your school regarding credit from outside institutions.

Session dates:
Session 1B: 6/10/24 - 6/28/24 (12:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.) (EST) - 0.50 credit
