American Heritage is pleased to offer you another tool to successfully navigate AP Chemistry this fall: AP Chemistry Prep for Success Seminar. The one week course will give students a head start to develop the critical thinking skills necessary for the AP Chemistry Exam. It will also deepen the students' understanding of spectrophotometry, solution properties, particle representations, equilibrium, and proper lab practices.

Prerequisites: Must be recommended for AP Chemistry in the fall.

This is a non-credit 1-week course

Session 3B: 8/8/22 - 8/12/22 (12:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.) (EST) - IN PERSON BROWARD CAMPUS ONLY OR ONLINE

Meet Ms.Paula Urrea+

Ms. Paula Urrea graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Amherst College and teaches Honors and AP Chemistry at American Heritage on our Broward Campus.

Additional Course Information+

A class may be canceled if fewer than 6 students enroll, and a specific teacher is not guaranteed. It is the parents’ responsibility to check with their child's school when seeking credit for a course. For online courses, the students’ cameras MUST be turned on at all times, and attendance is mandatory. To protect the privacy rights of all, there is absolutely no videotaping or recording by students during the course. Students must be age appropriate for the course, and all students must adhere to proper online etiquette. For online courses, young children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
