Resume Writing and College Interview Skills is a one-week seminar course that will provide college-bound students with the tools to create a professional resume/activity sheet. Students will be able to use their final product as part of their college, scholarship, and employment applications. In addition, students will be equipped with the tools and skills necessary to confidently interview for college admissions. Students will learn helpful tips that will put them in the driver’s seat during the college admissions process.
Dr. Reginald Miles has been in the education field for over 15 years. He is the Senior Associate of College Planning at American Heritage School. Previously an Associate Director of Recruitment at the University of Arizona, he managed a national team to meet recruitment efforts and worked with students on the college admissions process. He earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, Master of Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University, and Bachelor of English degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His passion is helping students reach their full potential.
A class may be canceled if fewer than 6 students enroll. A specific teacher is not guaranteed. To protect the privacy rights of all, there is absolutely no videotaping or recording. Students must be age appropriate for the course. Young children must be supervised by a parent at all times. It is the parent’s responsibility to check with their child’s school when seeking credit for a course.
